Snarkitecture Customizes a Private Jet for Art Basel

We’ve already seen a handful of impressive car reworkings courtesy of Os Gemeos, RETNA andBen Levy for this year’s Art Basel festivities but Snarkitecture has taken its artistic talents to a grander scale by giving a private jet a custom paint job. Private aviation company NetJets has unveiled a custom ‘Signature Series Global 5000′ aircraft to greet visitors at Miami’s International Airport, which has been reimagined in a sky blue gradient by the design studio. The thirteen passenger aircraft’s new color scheme is reminiscent of an ombre sky, “that moment at dawn or dusk, when the sky creates a perfect gradient transition from light to dark,” as described by Alex Mustonen and Daniel Arsham, the creative minds behind Snarkitecture. Check out the pics of the aircraft above and stay tuned for more information regarding this year’s Art Basel on our viral pages.
